Staunton Harold Sailing Club announces LDC 2000 and RS200 Open Event on 8th May

Staunton Harold SC looks forward to welcoming LDC 2000 and RS200 sailors on Saturday 8th May to our first Open event of 2021.

Featuring the second LDC 2000 West Country Boat Repairs Millennium Series, co-sponsored by Noble Marine Insurance and the first in the RS200 Sailing Chandlery Northern Tour the day spearheads key race dates for 2021 for both these fleets.

Time / Format / Sign-on / Briefing

Due to Covid restrictions the race briefing will be online via shsc.org.uk. Please check it out in the week commencing Monday 3rd May.

On the day, the first race will be on, or shortly after, 11:30 a.m.. Sailors will enjoy four races through the day (subject to conditions).

Note all sailors are required to register and sign on digitally in advance, at a cost of £25 per boat. Please visit here for LDC200 sailors, and here for RS200 sailors. Note to select number of tickets (1 per boat) and then click the 'Get Tickets' clue button to purchase. All non sailing visitors are also required to sign on in advance please click on the Spectators and Supporters SIGN-IN HERE section on the digital online entry.

On arrival at the club, NHS Track & Trace posters are sited at the entrance to the Staunton Harold Sailing Club clubhouse for further registration.

Avoid disappointment

Due to Covid, sailing numbers will be limited to 30 boats per fleet on the water - to avoid disappointment please book asap. If our numbers are exceeded you will be added to a waiting list and should any sailors drop out you will be invited to join the event.

Galley/ Facilities

Please also be aware that due to Covid restrictions no changing facilities, showers or galley are available on the day.
