Crewsaver has come on board as sponsor for the JOG Lymington to Cowes Race in 2021. This race will be part of the packed Junior Offshore Group (JOG) 2021 programme and takes sailors from the Lymington Yacht Club starting around the Solent, finishing at the JOG startline off Cowes, Isle Of Wight. It will take place on Sunday, 19th September 2021.

Expected to attract around 40 boats ranging from 25ft to 40ft and including both double handed and fully crewed boats, this race remains a popular choice for JOG sailors. Winners of each class will receive a Crewsaver Crewfit+ 180N Pro lifejacket, ideal for the yacht racing environment.

Commenting on the importance of this sponsorship for JOG's 2021 race programme, Stuart Lawrence, Vice Captain of JOG said, "We are excited to be bringing Crewsaver into our sponsorship programme for 2021. Not only is Crewsaver a fantastic brand to have onboard but most importantly it reminds us of the importance of staying safe at sea. We are convinced that having Crewsaver as a partner will add kudos to our already packed racing calendar and membership benefit scheme."

Speaking of the sponsorship, Matthew Bridge, Commercial Director of Crewsaver said "We at Crewsaver love what JOG stands for, and feel it is only fitting for a heritage UK maritime brand such as ourselves to support them. Their passion for the boats, the water and the racing is infectious and a great fit for the culture we embrace here at Crewsaver. We look forward to seeing our fantastic safety gear giving them the confidence to get out there and do what they love! #designedforlife."
