In just over 11 weeks, we will be on the start line. The organizing committee has worked hard over the past 12 months to develop scenarios in which the race will go on as planned, albeit with adjustments.

We will not plan anything that places skippers, crews, or Marion Bermuda Race volunteers in harm's way. Safety is our #1 priority in both onshore and offshore environments.

As of April, based on the current government guidelines in North America and Bermuda, the Race will require the following from all Skippers and Crew:

  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Masks on the docks, launches, and yacht club grounds
  • A negative PCR test 3 days prior to start to comply with Bermuda Entry requirements
  • Compliance with the then-current rules from Bermuda and US Health and Immigration
We anticipate that we will not be able to hold any of the shore-side activities typically associated with the Race including access and use of BYC and RHADC. Events will be adjusted or offered in a virtual format.

Circumstances can change quickly especially with COVID-19 variants and the rules in both countries. We're prepared to adjust our plans accordingly and will keep you informed.

We'd like to hear from you with any questions or concerns. Please email us at .

In the weeks leading up to the race, we will communicate more detailed information on race plans and regulations. At the end of April, we will have a webinar detailing the protocols we will be following for the race.

As always, please visit our race website for more details and information.
