The Swan River Sailing Championship Weekend is back for 2021 with another triple banger of three regattas to be held over one weekend in March 2021 at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club! After a false start in 2020, Friday, 19th March will have our old favourite back, the Champion of Champions for a sunset sailing session.

Backing it up on Saturday, 20 March will be the second dose of the Women's State Keelboat Championships for the season followed by the fourth event of the WA Tour & Development Program on Sunday, 21 March; the 2021 Youth State Keelboat Championships.

Between the run of our Community Regattas will see a postponed City of Perth Festival of Sail on Monday 12 - Friday 16 April, sailed in Perth Waters and encompassing a range of events and functions including Women On Water, the Beach Clean Up and the Corporate Cup!

The 2021 City of Perth Youth Cup, the fifth and final event of the WA Tour will be sailed and finishing mid afternoon on Friday, 16 April, but, before we can make our way to Royal Perth Yacht Club's Catalina Bar for the Closing Function + Presentations for the Youth Cup + Presentations for the overall WA Tour supported by the Warren Jones Foundation.... The Veterans will be taking center stage in Perth Waters for the first Session of the Inter Club Championships for 2021!

Backing it up on Saturday morning, we will see the ladies on the water once again followed by a double session for the Opens on Sunday, 18 April.

Calling all country clubs..... the perpetual trophy for the top finishing Country Club is already pencilled in for Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club as they currently the only non-metro team entered!! Who want's to make sure they don't just get the title because they showed up? Non-metro teams receive NoR exemptions & a discounted entry fee - all WA yacht clubs are welcome to participate and we encourage joint entries if it means clubs can field a team!

Finishing up at the tail end of the 2020/21 Season will be the ever-popular College Cup on Sunday, 2 May at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. It's been a while since we've seen some sailors from Hale or Aquinas.... surely they can field a team amongst our regulars? No doubt Scotch, Christ Church, John XXIII and maybe even Shenton & Wesley will be back again considering they're overdue for some College Cup fun after the 2020 event had to be put on ice.... We are definitely glad to be back for 2021!
