2021 Annapolis to Newport Race update - ORC-focused online seminar

We will be hosting an ORC-focused online seminar on Monday, February 1, beginning at 6:30pm EST. It will be led by Jahn Tihansky, USNA Director Offshore Sailing Team, and Ben Capuco, AYC's ORC Fleet Captain and Owner of the Aerodyne 38 ZUUL.

They will provide a basic overview of the ORC handicap rule, focusing on the ORC Club certificate. The presenters will walk you through how to complete the online application on the U.S. Sailing website and how to arrange to have your sails measured to complete the process. Registration is open for the 2021 Annapolis to Newport Race on Yachtscoring. This will be the 38th biennial edition of the Race, which originated in 1947. Starts will take place on Friday, June 4th and Saturday, June 5th.
