Merry Christmas adventurers! For Adventures Weekly on 26 December 2020 we were LIVE and paying tribute to the Great Race, the Rolex Sydney Hobart, and what might have been at 1pm AEST "Downunder".

As sailors we are used to putting "safety first", so while it is an extremely weird feeling, and sad to not have a Hobart Race - the best thing we can do is relive some memories and look forward to more!

Join us for some fun trivia featuring key players in the race, as well as a look back through the years thanks to the Cruising Yacht Club Of Australia and their incredible archives. Footage from 1945-1975 features, with plenty more at the CYCATV YouTube channel.

Lots of prizes to come over the next few days thanks to Harken Australia, Musto Australasia and Bollé Australia! We gave away a Musto jacket & hoodie, and a Harken dry bag today! Tune in or check out our Instagram/Facebook stories or send us your own Hobart memories to win! There is a pair of Bolle sunglasses up for grabs for the person who contacts me with the most consecutive Hobart finishes!

Here's to bringing some Hobart cheer to one strange old year - lots of love, Sailor Girl - Nic xx
