Late last month, Ovation, a 100' Jim Smith Tournament Boat made a two-mile trek over land from the manufacturer to the Hinckley Yacht Services yard in Stuart, Florida where she made her first splash. This highly orchestrated task took nearly five hours and required over 100 people to move the behemoth to Hinckley where she was picked up by the 150-ton Travelift and launched by the Hinckley Yacht Services crew.

Jim Smith Tournament Boats and Willis Marine, among other yacht manufacturers in the Southeast Florida region, choose Hinckley to commission their latest boats because of the capability and expertise of the team at the Stuart yard. Andy New is a Service Manager at Hinckley Yacht Services Stuart specializing in yachts in the 60' - 120' range like Ovation and others that would take a ride on the 150-ton Travelift. New says "it's not the geography of the location, it's the unique reputation Hinckley has as a pinnacle yachting brand when it comes to commissioning a new yacht. Commissioning at Hinckley Yacht Services Stuart and working with the Hinckley team adds peace of mind and elevates the customer experience. It is not uncommon for a new yacht we have commissioned here for a regional builder to return to Hinckley for upgrades and service."

Hinckley Yacht Services' in Stuart is the choice for many repeat customers when they consider upgrades and refits on their yachts. New says customers in the 80' - 120' return to Hinckley because of the craftmanship, capability, and the quality of the work delivered by the team in Stuart. Whether it's commissioning a 100' sport fish, storage in the 40,000 sq. ft. category 5 storm rated climate-controlled facility, or an exciting upgrade, the crew in Stuart delivers white-glove service returning customers know to expect only from the team at Hinckley Yacht Services.
