We ran the original article, Double trouble? back on August 3, 2020. It seems terribly prudent to go back to that piece once more, now that the double-handers have learned of their fate after entries closed.
At one stage the double-handers accounted for 33 vessels in the 2020 Sydney Hobart fleet, but amounted to just 22 when entries closed last Thursday. Could it be that the Westcoaster might now get a flurry of late double-handed entries for their race?
