The SORC season series is definitely on and will kick off on November 12 with the Nassau Cup Race. The Bahamian government has announced that the 14-day quarantine period for new arrivals will end on November 1, so we are racing to Nassau. Our priority is to facilitate on the water competition, and our focus is on that. Shore-side activities will be organized as appropriate given the conditions at the time of the race.

Next up is the Wirth M. Munroe Palm Beach Race, the fabled "Race to the Buffet," on December 4, followed by the Ft. Lauderdale to Key West Race on January 21. The Notices of Race for all three races are posted on YachtScoring. The Series wraps up once again with the Eleuthera Race on February 17. The Notice of Race will be posted soon.

We want to have competitors on the water and we want you to be one of them. We want to know your plans so that we can be ready for you. We are more interested in knowing who is coming than getting entry fees at this point, so get your entries in. We are all looking forward to picking up where we left off in March, and can't wait to see you on the starting line.

For information on Bahamian entry requirements, visit this website, bahamasmarinas.com/procedures-and-protocols.
