Bayliss Boatworks construction update: Bayliss 75'
by Bayliss Boatworks 7 Oct 2020 04:56 AEDT
September was a month of rapid change on the exterior of Bayliss 75'. With her engine vents installed, the hull sides were glassed, coated in epoxy, faired, and primed.
Once this work was complete, she was prepared for one of the most notorious benchmarks in the cold-molded build process- the hull flip.
View a time-lapse video of that process below.
Flipped right side up, Bayliss 75' was returned to the hands of the Hull Carpentry Crew where interior glassing has begun. In early October, she will see the installation of bulkheads, which will be quickly followed by side insulation and development of the machinery spaces.
