The Caribbean Sailing Association (CSA) has confirmed dates for its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Organisers Conference (ROC) as November 13-14, 2020. Due to the impact of COVID-19 and restrictions on travel the event will virtual and hosted via Zoom.

As part of the AGM there will be re-election of board members. A nominating committee headed up by Pam Fuller has been appointed and is interested in hearing from members who have an interest in serving on the board.

The slate of nominees along with the official notice of AGM will be issued by 12th October, 2020.

The Conference Planning Committee is interested in feedback from members about any areas of interest they would like to see included in the AGM or ROC and topics they would like to see discussed or presented.

President of the CSA Alison Sly-Adams comments, 'This has been a very challenging year and will continue to be so. Many of us as regatta organizers and programme and club managers have found huge support in our regional network through regular Zoom calls since the COVID-19 crisis began. The AGM and Conference will be a great opportunity to regroup ahead of the season. Last week we held a call to focus on our communications plan to ensure we can assist potential participants in finding the information they need to plan to race at regattas. Our focus remains on how we will deliver a fabulous season of racing while working within the protocols and guidelines issued by our regional governments.'

To register for the conference please fill in the form here.
