Sanlorenzo SX76: waiting for you, right now.

Sanlorenzo SX76: immediate delivery © Simpson Marine

In the last couple of years, Sanlorenzo has been a huge success story in Asia. There are all sorts of reasons for this, starting with the obvious fact that Sanlorenzo yachts are the absolute epitome of style and elegance. And then there’s the bonus that Simpson Marine are the agents in Asia, meaning that owners have a guaranteed level of excellence in the back up and service that goes with their yacht.

This year, Simpson Marine have brought two Sanlorenzo SX76s into Hong Kong. The first one was an order delivery, and the second is presently looking for an owner. If you fancy the idea of putting a name on the transom of one of Sanlorenzo’s classiest creations, and you really don’t want to wait – then this is the best opportunity you are ever going to get.

The SX76 is what Sanlorenzo call a “crossover model”, meaning that she is a smart blend of a traditional classic flybridge yacht and an explorer yacht. At 23m overall, she is just a tad smaller than her marque sister, the Sanlorenzo SX88, but step on board and you’d hardly know. Studio Zuccon International have done such an astonishing job of maximising the usage of indoor space, including the use of Strataglass panels to enclose (when required) the flybridge.

Over and above the obvious – making sure that the boat floats, and goes – yacht design is all about the management of space. Sometimes this means the simple maximisation of what is available, and sometimes it is about innovative arrangement, smart usage, and convertability. Designers love to talk about the “indoor-outdoor feel”, and Sanlorenzo are acknowledged experts at this. Now your SX76 is an outdoor venue with an 18sq m beach club; all the cocktails wear little umbrellas, and swimsuits are de rigeur. As the sun goes down, the boat becomes a cocktail lounge for the smart set, and swimsuits are swapped for little black numbers.

And then of course there’s the style that accompanies top drawer quality: nobody ever accused Sanlorenzo of cutting corners in that department. Since 1958 Sanlorenzo have been creating yachts of the very highest calibre, that have given endless enjoyment to thousands of people. These are made-to-measure yachts, not production vessels, and every one of them is a unique floating gem. The Sanlorenzo SX76 will take you absolutely anywhere in the world when wearing its ‘Explorer’ hat, from Hong Kong to Hawaii, and from Patagonia to Patmos.

If you just can’t wait… If you would like to step on board today and sail away tomorrow… make the call. Your yacht is tied up at the quay, right now.
