Finns at Kieler Woche 2020 - Second Day

by Robert Deaves 11 Sep 11:19 PDT 10-13 September 2020

Nicholas Heiner continues to lead after the second day at Kieler Woche, despite losing the lead after the second race of the day.

Nils Theuinck won both of the first two races to briefly take the lead, while a win for Heiner in the third and final race of the day put him back on top, tied on points with Theuinck.

Facundo Olezza stays in third after a 2,3,3 leaves him seven points clear of Max Salminen in fourth. It was a largely grey day, with a 12-18 knot breeze from the west and a steep chop, though at the front, the fleet was very tight especially at the first mark.

There are two days left.
