The new Besenzoni app for ladder control

by Besenzoni 15 Sep 2020 03:31 PDT

A handy tool in your smartphone BUC, the Besenzoni app for smartphones and tablets - originally designed for gangway control - expands its range of functions: it can now be used to control and move retractable ladders using Bluetooth technology.

Besenzoni products have been a byword for quality for over half a century now, and the company has always paid close attention to the production processes and technologies in use. Its latest innovations include the expansion of the functions featured in the well-known and popular Besenzoni Unit Control (BUC) app. In addition to external and retractable gangways, the new Besenzoni Unit Control is also designed to control hydraulic multifunction ladders via smartphone or tablet (in/out and up/down movements). The app does not replace the remote control, but rather expands the selection of devices that can be used on board, making life easier with Bluetooth technology. The free app can be connected to up to 8 devices at the same time; it runs on both IOS (1.0 or higher) and Android (7.0 or higher) devices. The app has other functions too: it also connects to a map of the worldwide service network, for easy consultation when needed.

The Besenzoni Unit Control (BUC) is designed for use on smartphones and tablets, which are always close to hand today, simply using Bluetooth technology, in the same way we use the conventional infra-red or radio remote control supplied with the gangway at the time of purchase.

Once again, Besenzoni shows it is in step with the times, supplying a sophisticated app that undoubtedly meets boat owners' needs for instant, easy-to-use solutions.
