This is how the racing sailing season starts in Hong Kong: the RHKYC Autumn Regatta. This is a two-day regatta run from RHKYC Kellett Island, with approximately 100 class boats and ‘big boats’ taking to the water. When the sun shines (if the sun shines) Victoria Harbour becomes a kaleidoscope of colourful spinnakers and yachts, and a good time is had by all.

The Autumn Regatta is open to entries from all Clubs. For entries and further documentation (NoR, SI, Notice to Competitors, Past Results) please go to https://www.rhkyc.org.hk/AutumnRegatta.aspx There will be no guest parking until 1800hrs on 12 and 13 September.

Miscellaneous social distancing and C-19 qualifications: 1. The typhoon shelter sampan service will operate from a temporary pontoon on the slipway. 2. Only class boats will be allowed alongside the regular pontoons. 3. Sailors should not congregate on the pontoons and masks should be work at all times until the craft leaves the dock.

Please note that we are expecting large queues for the sampan service to the Big Boats. Don't miss your start! Please arrange for your crew to meet early and to go out to the boats asap. During the Autumn Regatta the sampan will not operate to and from Jardine’s Steps between the following hours: 0930hrs – 1230hrs and 1500hrs – 1730hrs.

Bart's Bash 2020 - 12 September 2020 The first race of the Autumn Regatta on 12 September is also designated as the Bart's Bash event. See https://www.rhkyc.org.hk/bartsbash.aspx
