Australia's leading trailerable fiberglass boat builder, Whittley Marine Group, announces that it has established Whittley New South Wales (NSW) Sales as the Group's new boat retail sales and service facility in Sydney. The new facility is conveniently located in Rozelle, in the heart of Sydney within The Sydney Boathouse mega on water boating facility.

The site boasts an extensive range of new Whittley Boats, a boutique sales office, dry stack storage options, café lounge, nearby restaurants and off-street parking suitable for vehicles towing large boats. The new business will sell the complete range of Australian made Whittley turn key boat-motor-trailer (BMT) packages.

Brock Cohen, Sales Manager at Whittley NSW Sales, had this to say about the exciting announcement. "Following the success of Whittley Queensland Sales opening this year and the release of the new CR 2380 and CR 2600 outboard models. The timing was right to establish Whittley's own dealership in Sydney. With an exciting new model development program under way, the Whittley family are looking forward to building on the success of their factory owned sales outlet model. The new Sydney facility is the Group's third sales outlet across the eastern seaboard and now see's Whittley boats sold in Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast."

The Whittley company have been building high quality, handcrafted Australian-made boats for over 65 years, designed specifically for Australian boating conditions. Unlike many boats built overseas, every new Whittley boat is legally trailerable without over width towing restrictions, enabling customers to tow virtually anywhere, anytime with a suitable set up tow vehicle in Australia.

Mr. Cohen continued to say, "Whether it be in a Whittley Family owned dealership or online, the Whittley new boat buying experience is unique to the market and enables customers to enjoy a closeness to the Whittley Factory and Family. Whittley is the only brand in Australia, that builds the boats from a drum of resin to a finished product and then sells them through its own dealerships across the country. This process ensures a unique customer experience and closeness to the factory throughout the process, not offered by any other brand."

Customers can also enjoy an in-dealership experience online, via the Whittley website where potential buyers are able to build a boat, choose colours and options, see dealership stock boats, apply for finance and see each Whittley model onscreen

via the unique virtual tour feature. The way consumers buy boats has changed and either through an in dealership or online experience, Whittley is at the forefront of the new boat buying experience.

The Sydney Boat House is widely regarded as Sydney's premier trailer boat facility, offering a comprehensive range of marine related trades including chandlery, engine service and accessory related businesses, a working marina and dry stack boat storage. The site is regarded as the one stop location for all things trailer boating on Sydney Harbour.

Neville Whittley, Managing Director at Whittley Marine Group, had this to say about the establishment of the new dealership, "Buying from Whittley NSW Sales ensures that customers in Sydney and NSW can enjoy a close link with the product and the factory in Melbourne. It is a unique experience to be able to call in to The Sydney Boathouse for lunch, explore the range of new Whittley Boats and experience an on-water demonstration while you discuss your new boat package. With seven new boats already sold before the new yard is officially opened, we are very excited with what Whittley NSW Sales will offer to customers & the overall new boat buying experience."

The new Sydney facility stocks a large display of new Whittley packages ranging in price from $44,990 to over $250,000. Exclusively supplied with the Group's leading partners: Volvo Penta stern drives, Yamaha outboards, Mackay trailers and Garmin and Fusion electronics.
