Cyclops Marine is pleased to announce they are sponsoring the overall winner at the Landsail Tyres J-Cup 2020, which the Royal Ocean Racing Club, Cowes is host to from 3rd to 5th September.

smarttune and smartlink, are the first two wireless load sensors in the Smart Range from Cyclops Marine. The sensors bring America's Cup technology to every sailor. They have been developed in conjunction with sailors, to enable them to set their rig and fine tune sheet loads to their optimum setting. Get your rig set up correctly, and you will enhance your performance on the water with real time data (via boat instruments or app) to help you repeatably hit those fast settings first time every time.

"Key Yachting is delighted to add a new sponsor to our long term supporting sponsors of the Landsail Tyres J-Cup 2020," comments Marie-Claude, Managing Director of Key Yachting Ltd. "Cyclops products and technology are well suited help J Boats owners to sharpen their performance. We are also very pleased that a J-Cup winner will be taking this wonderful prize home."

smarttune is delivering results. J/111 Blur Sailing Team won ORC5 in the Rolex Middle Sea Race 2019 and their class in the Coastal Race. They put their success partly down to being more proactive with their backstay tension. Owner Peter Gustafsson comments that "With smarttune we have a common number on the mast to work with. With both trimmers and the helmsman in the loop we are more proactive when the conditions change. This leads to meters, that leads to boat lengths that leads to places on the score board."

CEO Ian Howarth and Sales Director Tom Pickles will be out on the racecourse and shoreside at the Landsail Tyres J-Cup 2020, providing additional support to customers using smartlink and smarttune. Their task to help sailors experience the Smart Range difference.

"We are seeing a number of J Boat owners installing smarttune looking to get the edge on the competition" comments Ian Howarth, CEO of Cyclops Marine. "As we get back racing customers are starting to see the benefits of our load sensors and we look forward to supporting these customers at the event next month."

Registered competitors and customers of Key Yachting should keep an eye on their inbox for a race exclusive offer coming their way. To learn more about smarttune and smartlink please visit www.cyclopsmarine.com.
