The lockdown continues, and so do the Adventures Weekly episodes. Tuesday marked the 18th episode of the show since they commenced on 27 March 2020.

In the past few weeks, for the start of "Season 2" Nic the Sailor Girl has spoken to Andrew Palfrey, and Iain Murray, on separate occasions. The duo have raced with each other (Star 2008 Olympics), against each other, and have sailed, coached and worked in support roles at the highest level in our sport.

The first edition of Season 2 for Adventures Weekly was with Andrew "Dog" Palfrey, and Nic explored the breadth of Dog's career, from start to finish.

Andrew "Dog" Palfrey said: "Wow. It was so nice to talk to our close family friend

Nic Douglass of Adventures of a Sailor Girl fame and have that form part of her weekly interview series. Wide ranging chat through my sailing history and all sorts of memories and people I have come across. Also a bit of coaching and team philosophy.

Nic is the best communicator in sailing and keeps giving to the sport she loves. Lots of fun, with Toby Palfrey and Kate Palfrey getting on the air as well. Loved the replay at the end of Toby interviewing me at the end of the record-breaking win on Phaedo from the 2015 Round the Island Race. Gold. A photo also emerged from a mate back in my youth. It turns out I did at one point have hair. Enjoy."

For Adventures Weekly on 10 July 2020 we were lucky to have champion sailor, boat designer, coach and self-proclaimed "sailing addict" Iain Murray - Big Fella with us to chat about his career and all that he is up to now with the Australian Sailing Team, America's Cup and SailGP.

To check out the highlights from Season 1, you can find the full playlist here, or watch the wrap episode of Season 1 here. Notable guests include sailing "diehards" from John Bertrand to Tracy Murray, and Bob Fisher to Terry Hutchinson.

On Saturday 18 July, Nic chatted with the legendary Kay Cottee, the first female to sail non-stop, solo and unassisted around the world. You can tune in via her Facebook Page live at 1000 AEST, or catch up on YouTube, Facebook, on this website, or via podcast after the live broadcast.

Don't forget our weekly themed trivia competition brought to you by Pantaenius Yacht Insurance! Each weekly winner, who along with winning a prize pack from Pantaenius, will also join each of the winners of the weekly video competition for our major prize draw in December of this year!
