Bryan Stewart teams up with Vaikobi Ocean Performance

Emerging Australian brand Vaikobi, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Bryan Stewart to the Vaikobi commercial team, where he brings vast experience and knowledge to the new role of International Sales and Marketing Manager.

Bryan, who needs no introduction to the global marine industry, has enjoyed a highly successful career to date, working for a number of major sailing and marine brands including Gill Marine, where he was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing after playing a critical role in the evolution of the Gill brand for over 14 years.

Bryan also held previous roles with UK based marine brands such as, Typhoon, Sola Wetsuits and Body Glove and is deeply connected with the industry through world leading events, high profile race teams and industry bodies.

The addition of Bryan to the Vaikobi Team comes at an important time for the emerging brand. Established in 2013, by Founder and ex Zhik Global Sales Manager Pat Langley, Vaikobi has built an incredibly strong following in the global paddling market and is presently sold in 21 countries around the world.

In 2019, Vaikobi launched their new collection of technical sailing gear, which took the Down Under Summer by storm and enjoyed strong sales and rave reviews from sailors and retailers alike. With Covid-19 putting a dampener on the 2020 Northern Hemisphere season, Vaikobi will now be launching an expanded 2020/21 Technical sailing gear range in October this year ready for the 2020 Down Under Summer and 2021 Northern Summer.
