Twin Disc Pacific, the Australian-based subsidiary of the global leader in power transmission technology and equipment for marine and land-based applications, announced today that it will commence representation of Veth Propulsion in the Pacific market, a global supplier of main and auxiliary marine propulsion products.

The representation of Veth Propulsion establishes Twin Disc Pacific as a leading power control business for the recreational and commercial marine industry and expands Twin Disc's presence in the commercial marine market by adding complementary products and powerful new technologies. In addition, Veth Propulsion enhances Twin Disc's engineering talent and product development capabilities.

For over 65 years, Veth Propulsion has provided the global marine industry with innovative and leading propulsion and power control products and associated services. Veth Propulsion is a customer-oriented manufacturer of rudder propellers and thrusters.

"Twin Disc acquired Veth in 2018 and we've been reviewing when we would commence representation in the Pacific market," stated Glenn Frettingham, Managing Director of Twin Disc Pacific.

"Veth Propulsion has extensive experience in engineering and product development that will enhance our current product portfolio," continued Frettingham. "Innovations like Veth Propulsion's industry-recognized Hybrid Drive and Integrated L-Drive will open new markets and opportunities for growth for Twin Disc Pacific."

Strategically the representation of Veth Propulsion by Twin Disc Pacific makes for a perfect fit, offering a complementary product portfolio that adds value to new and existing customers, while providing Twin Disc's local engineering talent more tools to create opportunities for faster marine and propulsion product development, including emerging hybrid technologies.

In addition, we are pleased to announce that Ultimate Marine Power who have represented Veth in Australia for the past 8 years will remain an important partner with Twin Disc Pacific. Ultimate Marine Power will remain involved as part of a team collaboration through the project application process to ensure timely and professional response to technical enquiries.

"We've enjoyed representing Veth in the Australian market as they offer an exceptional range of propulsion products that complement our service offering," said Dave Murray, Managing Director Ultimate Marine Power.

"We're excited to be extending this relationship with Twin Disc Pacific and look forward to continuing our involvement with Veth."
