Marion Bermuda expands allowable sail inventory

Marion Bermuda Race © Marion Bermuda Race

The Marion Bermuda Race has listened to feedback from our past racers, and we have significantly expanded the allowable sail inventory for the race. The race now matches what is rated by ORR and allows the complete list of sails allowed within your ORR rating.

Large roach headsails are rated as a spinnaker due to their mid-girth percentage, so they will be counted as spinnaker inventory. If you select the non-spinnaker class for your rating, LRH's are excluded.

As always, your rating is based, in part, on your largest headsail, whether it's a spinnaker in the spinnaker class or a genoa in the non-spinnaker class. So, bring whatever you feel will enhance your ability to get to Bermuda more quickly.

See you on the start line June, 18, 2021!
