Having spent the last month not only looking for a temporary host venue but also trying to seek permission and clarification from the Thai Government to hold Phuket Raceweek 2020.

We have no alternative but to cancel this year's event.

As I write there is no clear information available regarding running a Sailing Regatta in Phuket with social distancing a major factor at all sporting events.

Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek 2021

We have therefore decided to now focus on the Cape Panwa Hotel Phuket Raceweek 2021 event.

I am delighted to report that we will be back at our Title Sponsors resort Cape Panwa Hotel and joint Host Sponsor Kantary Bay Hotel.

I should like to wish everyone good health and to stay safe in these very difficult times.

In the meantime did you view the 2019 picture gallery? Check it out here.

Tropical regards and good health.

Byron
