Golden Roll-In Dock too attractive to remove

by Martin Flory Group 19 Jun 2020 09:02 PDT

Whether for seasonal purposes or to protect them from an approaching storm, some owners routinely pull their docks out of the water. Difficult work, the move often damages the structure.

The new Golden Roll-In Dock from Golden is the ideal solution to this problem. A modular design offered in a wide range of sizes, it's solidly built for serious use, yet engineered for light, easy removal.

The Golden Roll-In Dock is manufactured using welded 6061 T-6 aluminum with stainless steel fasteners. Overly built for use in fresh, salt or brackish water, it's certified for 146kg/m2 loading. The dock's legs are double-braced for stability and feature integrated screw jacks for easy height adjustment with a cordless drill. Models are available for water depths of 28cm-297cm.

Standard dock sizes are 1.2m x 2.4m, 1.2m x 3.6m, 1.2m x 4.8m. Sun decks are offered in 2.4m x 3.6m and 2.4m x 4.8m. Many decking options are offered, including grey aluminum, powder coated woodgrain aluminum and Sure-Step perforated.

Maintenance-free dock sections securely clip together and unlock to pivot when moving the assembly into or out of the water. Massive 45cm self-draining mud tires allow for maneuvering over a wide range of wet and dry surfaces; sand-pad footings are available.

For the transition to shore, Golden Roll-In Dock ramps connect with Golden's extruded quick hinge bracket and a stainless steel ball pin. They're available in 2.4m, 3.6m and 4.8m lengths.

A Para-Track system allows for the simple bolt-on installation of accessories anywhere along the Golden Roll-In Dock. Offered are cast aluminum cleats, 91cm vertical or horizontal urethane bumpers, 30cm corner bumpers, inside corner dock wedge, barbeque mounts and dock ladder.

The Golden Roll-In Dock comes packaged in a kit for easy transportation to the site. Bolt-together assembly is DIY with common household tools. Custom configurations are available to fit virtually any requirement.
