Azimut S6 - From Times Square to the e-Boat Show, a boat that knows how to play the field

There are certain objects that, no sooner do they exit from their designer's pencil onto a sketch pad, seem to take on a life of their own and go beyond their mere functional nature.

One such case is the S6, the avant-garde star of the Azimut sports collection. Ever since its launch at the 2018 Cannes Boat Show it has been seen as the emblem of the innovative spirit not only of the sports line, but also the Azimut brand itself.

Last year the S6 "disembarked" in one of the world's most iconic locations, holding court in Times Square where it was admired and photographed by over 700,000 visitors in less than a week. Clearly, the little sister of the S7 suffers no inferiority complex and is quite at home in any situation, from the French Riviera to Manhattan and... to the digital landscape. Because, at last week's inaugural edition of the Azimut e-Boat Show, which yacht was the very first to be sold in this fascinating new commercial context? It could, of course, only be the S6, stealing the limelight yet again.

Some are captivated by its no-nonsense attitude, seen in the plentiful use of carbon and the three Volvo Penta IPS700 engines. Others fall for the impeccable charm of its elongated lines and oversized diamond shaped windows. The S6 simply and effortlessly dominates and captivates. No shrinking violet, you can imagine that if she could speak, she would, to paraphrase the famous words of Jessica Rabbit explain: "I'm not extraordinary, I'm just designed that way".
