| | | | Hello RS Sailors in Europe,
I am here on the seawall in Lymington looking out over the Solent. These are the home waters of RS Sailing with the Isle of Wight in the background. Seeing Hurst Castle, The Needles and on the other side, Cowes and a glimpse of Gurnard Sailing Club in the sun. Normally, every moment of the day, you would see an RS Sailing boat in the background. Whether it is the Dinghy Cruising Club taking RS Quests out for a nice sail around The Solent, a group of RS Aero’s training together for their next open meeting or the local doctor sailing his RS700 after his night shift. This is normally a vibrant place for sailing lovers, dinghy racers and water enthusiasts.
But not now, our whole world has been turned upside down. Now we can only dream and look forward to the next time we on the water. The RS Sailing Team, from all around Europe, are looking forward to getting everyone back on the water again. We pride ourselves for the programs and events that we have setup over the last few years, with sailors from all around the world but we are now starting to realise the world will be a very different place after the COVID-19 pandemic.
For now, we wanted to let you know that we’re hear with you and although we can’t get afloat, we hope the blog, videos and top tips below help with your urge to get on the water.
The RS Team are on call if you have any questions or interest in our range. There’s something for everyone - whether its racing, learning to sail or adventures with your family.
Stay safe and keep dreaming of summer 2020.
