Many things are being remembered today, but for Finn sailors it is particularly poignant as today was the day that the 2020 Finn Gold Cup was scheduled to start in Palma, Mallorca. To remember what Finn sailing looks like we put together the first of several short videos from last year's Finn Gold Cup in Melbourne, a world away from where we find ourselves today.

We thought it was also a good opportunity to review some of the more popular Finn videos over the years, some long and some short. The Finn class YouTube channel is now approaching 2 million views and 55,000 hours of viewing from nearly 600 uploaded videos. By October when the Finn Gold Cup has been rescheduled (2-10 Oct, at Club Nautic Arenal on Mallorca) hopefully, there will be some more great content to show from the ultimate Olympic class.

There are many more videos and they all can be found at finnclass.org/finn-tv (when Youtube get their stuff back together).

The medal race at the 2014 Europeans in La Rochelle is one of the channel's most popular videos. For the first time, the viewers were given a unique insight into heavy weather Finn sailing with a GoPro on the transom of each of the 10 Finns

FINN FOR EVER - In the medal race at the 2018 Finn European Championship in Cadiz, ten sailors were faced with 30 knots winds and 4 metres waves. It was a fantastic test of skill, determination and power

At every event there is always one day that stands out. At the 2016 Finn Gold Cup in Gaeta, Italy, it was Day 5 with three races and big winds, and THAT gybe by Oli Tweddell. Relive the action again

The stand-out footage from the 2018 European Championships in Cadiz was Ed Wright's title winning medal race performance including an amazing gybe in 25+ knots to snatch his second European title. There are nine more videos, one from each sailor taking part

In Race 10 of the Finn Gold Cup in Aarhus, the weather turned quite gnarly for about 10-15 when a 35 knots storm passed over. The resulting footage was epic
