With the crisis the world is dealing with at the moment changes have and will likely continue to be made to the 5O5 international racing schedule.

As and when information is updated it will be posted on the Class Website at www.int505.org.

Notifications and news will also be posted on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and sent to those registered for email updates.

To date the Euro Cup Leg 1 in Cannes has been cancelled and Kiel Week (which was the scheduled third Euro Cup leg) has been postponed until 5-13 September.

5O5 World Championship. Torekov Sweden
Scheduled 13-22 August 2020

Sailing Bastad, the International and Swedish 5O5 Associations, the businesses and the people of Torekov continue preparation for the Championship and are really looking forward to being able to hold this event. Hopefully it will become a welcome relief from the shutdown we are all experiencing.

Obviously what we can and cannot do safely in the future cannot yet be known. The Organisers will be cooperating with and getting information from health authorities, and monitoring the ability for people to travel and make plans. Organisation and progress will continue to be made through until late May when a final decision may need to be made no later than 1st June.

In the meantime every one take care of yourselves and the people around you. Get that maintenance and setup work done on your boat that you have been meaning to do and build up fitness for when we can all race together again.
