The Mirabaud Group presents the best sailing videos of the year as part of the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award competition. Professional directors, cameramen, editors and professional sailors are invited to send in their videos until 20 October 2020, for the fourth edition of the competition.

Following the success of its third edition, the Mirabaud Sailing Video Award international video competition will once again celebrate the worlds' best sailing videos and their authors in 2020. Summing up the year of sailing, the event rewards professional directors, editors, cameramen, production companies and also professional sailors who film their achievements at sea.

The videos of the three previous editions are available online.

An international and independent jury will be asked to judge the videos by end October. The winners will be announced and celebrated on November 23rd during the Yacht Racing Forum in Portsmouth (UK). The winner will be selected according to several criteria, described in the detailed event rules.

The public will be invited to vote online for their favourite videos, and to define the winners of the Public Award.

The Mirabaud Sailing Video Award is the only competition of its kind. The event has been supported since day one by Mirabaud Bank, also title partner of the Mirabaud Yacht Racing Image award. Thanks to its media partners and its international reach, the award benefits from - and offers - worldwide visibility.

Submit your video here.

The dates to remember for the 2020 edition are as follows:

  • The videos must have been filmed between 24 October 2019 and 19 October 2020.
  • Videos must be submitted by October 20, 2020 at midnight GMT.
  • Public voting will be open from October 22 to November 12, 2020.
Two important criteria to respect:
  • Duration of the videos comprised between 45'' and 2'00".
  • Royalty-free soundtrack
