U.S. Melges 24 Class announces 2020 National Ranking Series event schedule

The U.S. Melges 24 Class Association (USM24CA) is proud to announce the long-awaited and much-anticipated National Ranking Series calendar for 2020. The nine-part Series spans the North American continent featuring a wide variety of racing opportunities, from multi-class events to dedicated Melges 24 regattas.
At least one regatta from every U.S. Melges 24 Class district is included on the ranking to give all teams, traveling or otherwise, the chance to participate on an active, nationwide circuit. Marquee championships such as the 2020 World Championship, U.S. Nationals, Canadian Nationals are included, creating the ultimate Melges 24 "triple-crown".
The following events are the 2020 U.S. Melges 24 National Ranking Series:
Event No. 1: Bacardi Cup Invitational (Winter Series No. 3)
March 5-7, hosted by Bacardi and Shake-a-Leg Miami - Miami, FL
Event No. 2: Sperry Charleston Race Week
April 23-26, hosted by Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina - Charleston, SC
Event No. 3: 2020 Melges 24 World Championship
May 1-9, hosted by Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina - Charleston, SC
Event No. 4: Columbia Gorge One Design Regatta
July 24-26, hosted by Columbia Gorge Racing Association (CGRA) - Cascade Locks, OR
Event No. 5: Traverse City Invitational
August 15-16, hosted by Grand Traverse City Yacht Club - Traverse City, MI
Event No. 6: Canadian National Championship
September 4-6, hosted by West Vancouver Yacht Club - West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Event No. 7: California Cup (West Coast Championship Series Event No. 3)
September 12-13, hosted by Santa Cruz Yacht Club - Santa Cruz, CA
Event No. 8: U.S. National Championship
October 15-18, hosted by Tred Avon Yacht Club - Oxford, MD
Event No. 9: Atlantic Coast/Gulf Coast Championship / Bushwhacker Cup
November 13-15, hosted by Pensacola Yacht Club - Pensacola, FL
