2020 is proving to be a huge year for the WASZP class all around the world, with the introduction of SailGP's new youth racing program in the WASZP and an active racing circuit all over the world.

With new racing circuits such as the seven leg EuroCup and for the first time a Tier 2 WASZP event in the USA with the American Championships from the 16-19th of April in Charleston its sees the class take another step forward in its quest to create a foiling dinghy that encompasses everyone.

With a focus on competitive racing on the water across multiple new exciting race formats and a relaxed beach party lifestyle off the water it is the perfect cocktail of sailing as we feel it should be. The WASZP has not shied away from only hosting events in the best locations, that suit foiling, racing, families and fuels the off-water culture that has been prevalent since the class inception in 2016.

The 2020 season will culminate in the 3rd ever International WASZP Games hotsed by Fraglia Vela Malcesine at Lake Garda Italy.
