The third edition of the successful international OptiOrange Valencia will feature the Volvo Vedat Valencia as the official partner.

The relevant agreement was sealed in the Real Club Náutico de Valencia on 5th February by the president of the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, Alejandro Fliquete and the Sailing Commodore Rafael de Tomás with José Miñano, manager of Volvo Vedat Valencia.

Conceived by the St.Petersburg YC and the RCNV around three main principles - competition, fun and easy access - the OptiOrange Valencia inaugurated in 2018 with 60 entries mainly from Spain and Russia.

For its second edition in 2019 the entry list has grown dramatically up to 316 entries from 16 nations with some world-top sailors enrolled. For the third edition the organizers St.Petersburg Yacht Club and Real Club Náutico de Valencia expect more than 430 young sailors from 23 nations to visit.

In March 2020 all the features that quickly made the OptiOrange Valencia so successful will be maintained. These are low entry fee, affordable boat charter, daily free meals for all and definitely free unlimited orange juice. Besides, considering some remoteness of the Club from Valencia main city, a free shuttle will be provided for all those staying downtown.

So kids can race daytime and really enjoy beautiful Valencia in the evening. Also, for parents and guests daily spectator boat with commentary will be provided. And of course there will be the best coaches' clinics provided for those who want to be better prepared for the season.

"I think this alliance is a success for both Volvo and us, and I hope we start our cooperation for many years ahead," said Alejando Fliquete, president of RCN Valencia.

"We are delighted to collaborate with this event. We have many common values and we want this to be a fruitful relationship in which everyone is very comfortable," said José Miñano, manager of the Volvo Vedat Valencia.

"We appreciate the trust the company puts in our event and we hope that our common relationship will be beneficial for both parties. OptiOrange Valencia represents a lot of the company's values such as performance, success and passion," said Rafa de Tomás, the Sailing Commodore RCNV.

OptiOrange Valencia 2020 will be held in the Real Club Náutico de Valencia 5th-8th March.

The OptiOrange Valencia 2020 partners and suppliers are: North Sails, Winner Optimist, Blue Blue, Sailing Cuack and Zumex.
