The Flying Fifteen fleet and HISC's Commodore would like to welcome you back to Hayling for this year's Flying Fifteen UK National Championship from Thursday 30 July to Sunday 2 August.
HISC has had a long and fond association with the Flying Fifteen class since first hosting the Nationals in 1957! It will be a pleasure to see the Fifteens back again this summer.
Mark Nicholson the fleet captain, together with a team of volunteers, are pulling together all the preparations for what I'm sure will be another superb HISC championship. With Mark Darling as race officer and Catherine Massey as safety officer you will have a strong team looking after you on the water.
Off the water, Sue Bannister and her team will be organising some great socials, the details of which will be posted on the regatta website.
The Championship dinner and regatta tea will be included for competitors within the entry fee and for those who enter before the end of May there will also be a £30 rebate per boat to spend at the bar or restaurant.
As always, our friendly team in the HISC office are available to assist you with accommodation or any other queries you may have.
Finally, I would like to remind you that you can also join us for a warm up event on the weekend of May 2nd and 3rd for the famous Bulwark Open meeting. I look forward to seeing lots of visiting Fifteens at HISC this summer.

We are keen to encourage clubs sailors who have yet to experience a National Championship or visited HISC. The HISC fleet will be nominating buddies for those that have not visited HISC or attended a Nationals before and enhance the experience. It would be great if you could encourage fellow club sailors to enter and make this Nationals a big event. Why not bring your family this summer and enjoy the south coast? HISC will provide temporary membership so they can make use of the club and its beaches.
