It's never too early to start planning ahead for the summer sailing season. US Sailing is excited to release the schedule for the 2020 Youth National Championship Series.

US Sailing has been organizing National Championships for youth sailors since 1921, attracting the best young American sailors for quality competition, expert coaching, and spirited camaraderie. Several Youth National Championships in 2020 are celebrating historic anniversaries, including the 99th Sears Cup, 40th Leiter Trophy, 25th Ida Lewis Trophy, and 10th Rose Cup.

Each Championship features specific boat classes, age eligibility, and regatta formats, including fleet and match racing. US Sailing supports Championships for a variety of sailing disciplines, such as dinghies, keelboats, skiffs, catamarans, and boards.

US Sailing is proud to offer world class sailing venues, race management and coaching at the Youth National Championships Series. The regattas are hosted by leading sailing organizations around the country, offering excellent sailing conditions for sailors and hospitality to parents and guests.

US Sailing Certified Race Officials oversee fair and challenging racing on the water, and US Sailing's fleet coaches provide expert coaching and mentorship to the next generation of champions.

The 2019 championships featured coaching from several Olympic medalists and sailing legends, including Anna Tobias, Kevin Burnham, and Dave Perry. Stay tuned this spring for updates on the US Sailing fleet coaches for each of the 2020 Youth National Championships.
