Newly completed works at The Anchorage Marina in Corlette, Port Stephens, have transformed the entire facility, creating a luxury marina experience of international standard in Port Stephens NSW.

Taking two years to complete and valued at over 6 million dollars, the renovations create new opportunities for larger boats and superyachts, placing Port Stephens on the international boating map and broadening its appeal to a wider boating community from interstate and overseas.

"Port Stephens is a world class water way, with its deep water access, the lakes and river systems, Broughton island so nearby and a number of marine reserves " said Marina Manager Mr Patrick Whetter. "Owners of larger boats in particular need to know they can access the right services before they come here; our new facilities will give them that confidence."

Anchorage Marina can now accommodate vessels as large as 40m (130ft) with easy access to brand new Bellingham docks throughout the marina. These docks are all connected to power up to 125amps, complimentary Wi-Fi and are very close by to the ample car parking. The renovated fuel dock, (the most accessible in the area) has a fender along its 30m length and special mark-free hoses for the hi and low flow diesel and unleaded.

"It's nice to be able to offer our clients the best facilities in the area after the total refurbishment of everything from the docks, gangways, bathrooms and boardwalk" said Mr Whetter.

Boat owners from Port Stephens or further afield will find the Anchorage Marina the perfect location to moor and explore from. The beautiful natural harbour created by the Karuah and Myall river offers smooth sailing and an array of local attractions.

Onshore, the Anchorage Hotel has several dining options, bars and a spa to provide a truly luxurious experience for guests. "We've got the best of both worlds here" says Patrick, "blue water, protected anchorages, and creature comforts on shore. What's not to love?".
