As we embark on a new decade, we're thrilled to kick the year off with a number of exciting new initiatives to drive us forward as leaders in the marine recruitment industry, in the UK and beyond!
In 2020 we'll invest more in staff training and development, launch a forward-thinking CSR strategy and offer a first-of-its-kind advice and consultancy service to support clients and candidates through the government's new IR35 Finance Act.
A New and Improved CSR Strategy
Our partnership with the Final Straw Solent marked the start of a new direction and focus for our CSR strategy. From banning single-use plastic to drastically changing the way we manage waste and recycling, we are determined to further reduce our carbon footprint into 2020 and beyond. Are you ready for IR35?
In April 2020, the UK Government is introducing a new set of tax laws which will affect many marine businesses and contractors right across the UK.
For the first time, Marine Resources will be offering bespoke advice and guidance on best practices for businesses and employees to help you through these changes. We'll be sharing more information on this soon, but if you'd like to know more about IR35 before then, drop us a line.
Staff Development and Training
2019 was a fantastic year of growth for us! We expanded with six new team members and our plans for 2020 show no signs of slowing down. This year, we'll continue to grow our team with some exciting new hires, whilst investing in staff training and development, ensuring we continue to put customer service and client satisfaction at the heart of our business.
