Jon Sanders arrives in Cape Town, South Africa!

Jon arrived safely in Cape Town just before midnight last night, 7 January 2020. All is well on board. Time for some rest!
Jon departed sailing solo from Fremantle on his historic 11th circumnavigation on Sunday 3 November 2019. He is collecting water samples en route for the noplasticoceans.org project. Although his tracker wasn't working, contact was made via VHF and he made it safely to CapeTown. Jon is safely berthed at RCYC.
