Fairline brings the beach to you with all-new Targa 58 GTB

by Zak Hillard 19 Dec 2019 10:55 NZDT

Luxury British boatbuilder, Fairline Yachts, introduces the all-new Targa 58 GTB - another addition to the highly successful portfolio of work from celebrated Italian superyacht designer, Alberto Mancini, and the British boatyard.

This large express cruiser boasts a highly desirable beach club, making the Targa 58 GTB the first British-born sub-80ft model to feature one.

At a glance, the new Targa 58 GTB is unmistakable as a modern Fairline, with expertly designed interiors that take this model to the next level. Crafted in the image of a modern luxury apartment, herringbone wooden flooring and elegant lighting is used to create a sophisticated ambience, with Fairline's trademark handcrafted woodwork incorporated throughout the lower deck. The focus on interior excellence has not come at a performance cost, with a maximum speed of 36 knots expected.

The Targa 58 GTB forges a close connection to the water, utilising innovative drop-down wings to provide greater space at the stern. The bathing platform is designed to extend into a fully functional beach club. The beach club is the perfect setting to host guests and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings. It also offers impressive storage for both a Williams 345 JetRib and Seadoo Spark jet ski.

Design and Engineering Director at Fairline Yachts, Wayne Huntley, says, "We are excited to announce the launch of our first beach club yacht, the Targa 58 GTB. It truly showcases our design ethos of creating a close connection to the water. We strive to be at the forefront of yacht innovation, and a beach club is typically a feature exclusive to yachts over 80ft, to provide this enhanced boating experience in the 60ft class is something we are very proud of. We look forward to seeing the reception this stunning yacht will receive at its official launch during next year's Cannes Yachting Festival."

With a base price of £1,100,000 excluding taxes, the Targa 58 GTB will be available with five different engine options, including Volvo, MAN and Caterpillar hardware with power outputs ranging from 1800 to 2600hp.
