Francis Joyon and the crew of IDEC Sport leave Ho Chi Minh City

Act 3 of the IDEC Sport Asian Tour started very early this morning for Francis Joyon and the crew of IDEC Sport.

They crossed the start line for the new record between Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) and Shenzhen (China) at 02:55:10 UTC. The start for this 870 mile long journey took place in the sunshine with some mild Vietnamese weather. The 15-knot ENE’ly wind is expected to strengthen rapidly.
