Russian National Sailing League's Winter Series - Sochi waiting for foreign participants

NSL Winter Series started on 16th of November. Regattas will be held for the whole winter until March 2020 in Sochi. Nine J/70 boats are ready for regattas and training.

Five teams, including participants on their own boats, took part in the first act of NSL Winter Series, which was held on 16-17th of November. MSailing - CSKA team was the winner of the first winter regatta of the season.

OWNERS' CUP was held last weekend additionally, according to the request of National Sailing League's participants. Two racing days were different. Good weather and proper wind allowed Race committee to have five races. On Sunday seven boats of the regatta began racing at dawn and have 3 races up to 10 a.m. LUCKY team was the luckiest one and won the regatta.

NSL team wants to develop international relations and invites foreign teams to participate in upcoming events. Being the center of 2014 Winter Olympic Games Sochi became the best place for sport and leisure activities in winter. You can visit Olympic venues, facilities and modern ski resorts. Additionally, mixed events that includes sailing and skiing can be arranged by NSL team.

Traditionally, NSL Winter Series is held in Southern Federal Center for Sports Training (Yug Sport), one of the largest training center of Olympic teams of Russia.

Infrastructure of the complex includes a lot of indoor and outdoor facilities such as hydrothermal complex, pools, baths, gyms, modern stadiums for outdoor trainings.

Winter Series Event Schedule:

1 Act: November 15-17, 2019
2 Act: November 29 - December 1, 2019
3 Act: December 13 - 15, 2019
4 Act: January 24-26, 2020
5 Act: February 14-16, 2020
6 Act: February 28 - March 1, 2020
Final: March 13-15, 2020

Entry fee - 70 000 rubles (per team). Entry fee includes: J/70 boat rental for two days, race refereeing, organization of opening and closing ceremony, media support, visa support. Refundable deposit for a boat is 50 000 rubles.

Package offer - from 130 000 rubles (per team), including entry fee, accommodation in Yug Sport hotels for four person for four nights, three times meal, airport transfer.

The format of NSL Winter Series is fleet racing (with rotation, if number of teams exceeds nine teams). Racing days are Saturday and Sunday. Official training day is Friday.

NSL team is planning to held team racing events with up to four teams from each yacht club or country! The strongest Russian teams in J/70 class are looking to meeting the worthy competitor. Are you ready to challenge Russian team? Which yacht club will do it faster?
