New for 2020 is Zhik's APEX range of jackets, shorts and long pants, made from a highly breathable, two-layer, waterproof fabric with a DWR (durable water repellent) coating and fully-taped seams.
The APEX jacket is an all-round coastal/offshore jacket with an adjustable hood, high offshore collar and tapered faceshield that tucks into a stowaway pocket. There's two large utility pockets, a chest pocket and fleece-lined hand warmers.
Inside the jacket, a lightweight soft mesh lining increases airflow and adds comfort and adjustable inner PU cuffs offer double waterproof protection. A reinforced rear panel protects against wear and reflexite shoulder and wrist reflectors ensure you show up in the dark.
The APEX jacket can be teamed with any Zhik's offshore or cruising salopettes, or the new APEX pants and shorts made in the same fabric as the jacket.
These waist high, fully waterproof trousers and shorts, offer a comfortable and flexible alternative for sailors and power boaters, especially in warmer conditions. Designed with a fitted, tapered cut and raised waist with silicone waist grips to protect your lower back when you are seated on deck or astride a jockey seat.
Perfect for any inshore and coastal boating or warm weather racing, they have water repellent side-zip pockets and reinforced high wear areas. The shorts are fitted with pull-cord leg seals and the pants have an in-built PU leg seal and velcro tab adjustment to limit water flushes.
The trousers also have a zipped leg gusset for easy dressing on board.
