With Babsea arrived today in Richards Bay all yachts are now safely berthed at Zululand Yacht Club.

The first World ARC vessel to arrive was Charm, followed by Atla and Lunatix; all yachts were met by Zululand Sailing Commodore Jackie and World ARC Rally Control to pilot them to their berth and welcome them to South Africa.

The bulk of the fleet arrived in time to enjoy their first South African braai followed by an incredible big five safari trip to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve.

The programme continued with second tour to Hluhluwe-Umfolozi Game Reserve, an additional Braai and a delicious wine tasting evening.

The week of festivities culminates on Wednesday with a cruising to Cape Town briefing and traditional Zulu dancing, dinner and Prize Giving party.

Crews have various agendas planned for their free cruising time to Cape Town. What everyone will be watching closely is the weather and planning their passage with the famed Agulas current! Zululand Yacht Club once again has provided a great first impression of South Africa, the remainder of the country is sure to impress and provide lifetime memories!

Thanks to Zululand Yacht Club for the great support.
