Just a quick note with some information and reminders about the regatta in less than 2 weeks time...
The SIs are available for download here.
All boats will get some free boxed water at RSYC. Skippers are strongly encouraged to carry reusable water bottles for all crew members and to use these in preference to disposable bottles whenever possible.
We will appreciate if participants can inform us in advance if they require Social Tickets to dinner functions, as this assists with planning. There will be checks at the entrance to dinner functions, particularly in Langkawi. All non-participants will need a pass to enter. Social tickets will be available at Registration and at the Regatta Office at all locations.
Please inform us in advance of the estimated time that your boat will arrive at RSYC Port Klang (or Pangkor/Penang for Multihull) so that we can plan berthing.
All IRC boats now have their IRC certificates either up-to-date or pending issue, but a few class 5 and 6 boats have not yet completed their ARHS data forms, in order to have a TCC calculated well in advance. For Multihulls please obtain an OMR rating from Thailand if you do not yet have one.
All boats are required to have at least one MALAYSIAN mobile number available for safety contact purposes, and to receive finish line and other notifications via SMS during the week. Some of you might be getting a prepaid SIM card when you arrive in Malaysia: if so, please ensure you give that number at registration when you collect your YB Tracker.
