2019 WORLD LEAGUE SEASON CLOSES AT SOUTHERN CHAMPIONSHIP
The 2019 Melges 14 World League came to a close over the weekend with Adam Anker winning the North American Division at the Southern Championship on Lake Lanier, Georgia. The inaugural World League season featured more than 65 competitors racing in eight events across the US and Europe. After finishing second at the Euro Cup in September, Mario Aquila earned the title of 2019 World League Overall Champion.

BIG BOAT CHAMPION
Ian Atkins' ICY was named Hamble Big Boat Champion and won the IRC 1 Class during the HYS Hamble Winter Series. 2019 has been a great first year for the newly arrived Melges IC37 in the UK, winning its Class in a breezy Cowes Week, and then winning the IRC 1 division at a light airs Royal Southern September Regatta. FALL CUP
With a full 2020 schedule, the IC37 Class is bound for Fort Lauderdale for the Winter Series. The Series starts with the Fall Cup November 22-24. The Melges Team will be onsite with photo and video updates on the Class social media accounts.

SCHWOERER WINS 2019 WORLDS
The team of La Pericolosa with helmsman Christian Schwoerer is the new Melges 32 World Champion, crowned after a long four-day game played in the light wind conditions offered by the race course of Valencia.
The La Pericolosa crew completes the work the crew had begun at the beginning of the regatta when, with the British tactician Nick Asher, they gave birth to a real show, in the five races held before todays match point, La Pericolosa never scored a result worse than a fifth place. Read More...

Join the nine Melges 32s that have already registered for the Winter Series In Tampa, Florida. Davis Island Yacht Club is hosting events in January, February, and March.

ITALIANS TAKE ALL
The history of the Melges 24 Class repeats itself: after the successful World Championship of Helsinki in 2017, the Italian crews onboard Maidollis and Taki 4 (Corinthian) are again the Melges 24 World Champions. The fight for both the overall and the Corinthian podium was open until the very leg of the eleven races completed in Villasimius, amazing hosing location to the 22nd edition of the  Melges 24 World Championship . Several teams are already signed up for all three events, but now its time to get serious as the 2020 World Championship comes early to Charleston, SC on May 1-9. Theres no better way to shift the team into high gear than in Miami against some of the Class toughest competition.

Twenty-five MCs have registered for the Southeast Regionals on Lake Eustis, FL Nov. 9-10. The event is the first of three in the MC Triple Crown series. The other two events in the series are the Train-Wreck and the MCSA Midwinter Championship regattas.
