Here he captures the latest chapter in the long sailing history of the Solent - the sea trialling of Britannia, UK's latest America's Cup challenger.
She is sailing from her base in Portsmouth, before heading south for the warmer climes of Cagliari, Sardinia.
There she will co-habit with the Italian America's Cup challenger, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli. Cagliari is also the venue for the first America's Cup World Series event. America's Cup rules prevent the teams sailing against each other except in official racing or practice events.
