In the 29er class, the Corentin Goulon and Valentin Alakiletoa crew won the Allianz Championship. Emilie Bouchet and Robin Chantrelle's crew, although they had given everything to catch up with their four points behind, were unable to pass in front. And third place will be Australian, with Sheisha Mair and Hana Lena Jenkin finishing in third place just 1 point behind Camille Goulié and Francois Gboyah's crew.
On the RS Feva side, no surprise, the Raphael Bouzigues and Benjamin Benhayoun crew are New Caledonia Champions followed by Maxence Kesteman and Virgil Goux Thiercelin and in third place the Evan Glidic and Enzo Ardimani crew. This is the first New Caledonia championship for this series. All three provinces were represented. The riders are delighted with the support and atmosphere of the championship.
In the Optimist class, Aurel Martin confirmed and won the Championship for the third consecutive year followed by Romain Lecoyer in two and the first girl, Juliette Babey in third place. The 47 sailors offered a very beautiful show on the water. 15 races run over the four days. The succession is ensured with the eight participants of the green fleet (beginners' regatta)
It took 16 races for the 29th and 15 for the RS Feva and the optimist to know the winners. The reactions of the race committees over these four days of championship: "It's hot, it's the fight on the water, it's beautiful. The conditions were perfect alternating over the four days between five to 25 knots. The New Caledonians have clearly distinguished themselves, with an optimist podium 100% New Caledonian and four New Caledonians in the top 10, as well as in the 29er class where the first two crews are New Caledonians. The next objective is to participate in the Australian Sailing Championship in Melbourne.
