Double gifts with RYA Refer a Friend © RYA

Throughout October RYA members enjoy not one but two special gifts when they sign up their friends and family to RYA membership, with the RYA Refer a Friend scheme.

Refer a Friend rewards existing members for spreading the word about RYA membership.

For every member that refers a friend or family member who decides to sign up as a new member, we will give the referring member an RYA branded flask and Overboard dry bag to say thank.

Not only do the referring members enjoy their free gifts but new members also enjoy a 25% discount off their first year's subscription, so it's a win, win for everyone.

"Our members are the best people to tell others about the benefits of RYA membership and the Refer a Friend scheme is a great way for us to recognise their support in spreading the word about the benefits of membership", commented Conor Lee-Swift, RYA Membership Development Manager. "Normally members get a choice of either of the 'thank you gifts' but throughout October we're offering an additional incentive to take part in the Refer a Friend scheme and give them both gifts - so that they don't have to choose a favourite!"

With RYA membership you have access to free boating related legal, regulatory and technical advice from our in-house experts when you need it most. You add your voice to over 112,000 members in support of the work the RYA does ensuring that legislators, regulators and other authorities understand and take account of recreational boating activity.

You'll also enjoy a whole host of benefits, rewards, discounts and offers from over 80 member reward partners, helping to cut the cost of your boating, while the quarterly RYA Magazine and regular e-newsletters help keep you up to date with all the latest news and events, advice and tips.
