Following the European premiere of the all-new ORYX 379 sports cruiser at the Cannes Yachting Festival, Oryx heads to the Southampton International Boat Show 2019 for the model's debut to the UK market.

The Next Generation of Oryx vessels benefit from Gulf Craft's expertise in premium yacht building under the Majesty brand, offering a cool and contemporary boat that represents a revolution in luxury sports cruisers.

Oryx is pleased to announce their presence at the Southampton International Boat Show 2019. Held from 13th - 22nd September, the UAE-brand will be showcasing the new ORYX 379 sports cruiser to the UK market for the first time following her European debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this month.

The all-new ORYX 379

Launched in March 2019 at the Dubai International Boat Show, the ORYX 379 measures 37' 9" (11.52 metres), with a beam of 12' (3.65 metres) and a draft of 2' 3" (0.7 metres). Designed by Hussein Alshaaliis, the ORYX 379 represents the first model of the next generation of Oryx sport cruisers.

Utilising the same high-quality manufacturers and suppliers as the revered Majesty brand, every material onboard the new Oryx model has been selected for its excellent finish and guest experience, from the superior veneers to the customised dimmer lights. "The design philosophy centres on the creation of a fun, timeless boat which offers a superyacht finish and accessibility in every aspect from the design to the price," explains Hussein Alshaali, designer of the ORYX 379.

"We wanted to completely step away from traditional pricing models where 'optional' extras are actually not optional at all. With the ORYX 379, the standard option offers a high-quality, turn-key solution packed with all the included features you need to enjoy the boat to its full potential immediately."

Performance and style

With a distinct near plumb bow design and constructed in FRP, the ORYX 379 seamlessly combines performance with style. Offering fantastic longevity, fewer emissions and lighter weight than inboard counterparts, triple Mercury 300 hp outboard engines offer breathtaking speeds of up to 48 knots as standard.

"From her contemporary design to an exceptionally competitive price, the ORYX 379 is the most innovative luxury sports cruiser on the market. She is an excellent representation of the next generation of Oryx," states Gulf Craft's Chairman, Mohammed Alshaali. "The whole team is excited to showcase the ORYX to the UK market at the Southampton International Boat Show."

The ORYX 379 will be on display at the Southampton International Boat Show from 13th - 22nd September. Get in touch to schedule an appointment or visit the Oryx team in Southampton at C0013.
