Register now for Weymouth Speed Week 2019

by Weymouth Speed Week 29 Aug 2019 19:12 AEST 5-11 October 2019
Double world record holder, Zara Davis GBR, has confirmed her entry in Weymouth Speed Week at the WPNSA © Zara Davis

The first and the longest running speed sailing event open to all types of wind powered craft starts on Saturday 5th October. We look forward to seeing friends old and new from across Europe, and possibly further, at this year's event. As always the first weekend will incorporate the youth event.

2019 is proving to be a tough year for many of the organisers and our resources are very stretched. A number of important changes are necessary in order that we can run the event this year.

We are only offering Full Week entries and the Youth Weekend. This is partly due to the very limited number of GT31 GPS Data Loggers available and our wish to make best use of them. For those wishing to take part for two days this may be possible from the 7th onwards provided you have your own GT31 to record speeds.

We are only using GT31s.

Entries will CLOSE two weeks before the event and only those who have made payment at that time will be eligible to take part and receive their event shirt.

So don't delay!

To register to take part this year and for further information please go to www.weymouthspeedweek.com

Registration Guidance:

If you haven't already done so create an Account. Which you can do via Take Part - Create an Account. Then log in, complete the Entry Form and pay the entry and hire fees. For those who have an account simply log in and complete the Entry Form. If you cannot remember your account details such that the reminders don't work, or you no longer have your old email account just make a new account.

If you want to register several people then log out and make a separate account for each person.

We look forward to seeing you at Weymouth this year.

The email address for correspondence about taking part in the event is

And finally if anyone can offer any assistance during the week, especially with our IT, during registration or would like to get involved longer term please get in touch.
