Race 3 of the Concierge Traveller Spring Series presented another entertaining day's racing. Windy conditions presented the 24 competitors in the race with lots of challenges, with gusts of up to 23 knots recorded on Sydney Harbour at 2pm.
Congratulations to Business As Usual, Clavida, Applejack and Crosshaven for winning their respective divisions.
Each week, all of our divisional winners are in for a chance at the $500 prize courtesy of our wonderful Race Partner Concierge Traveller. At the conclusion of the series, all divisional winners will then be in for the chance at the $5,000 major prize, again with thanks to our Race Partner Concierge Traveller.
With this coming Sunday being the final race of the series, competitors across all divisions will be putting their best foot forward for the series win with two out of the four divisional leaders tied going into this final race. Sean Rahilly who is currently tied first in both PHS Division 1 (tied with David and Stuart McLean's Solveig II) and IRC (tied with Rear Commodore Janey Treleaven's Finn) will be looking to continue his winning form after this week's first place in IRC and winning the $500 Concierge Traveller voucher.
In PHS Division 2, Hugh Murray-Walker's Oscar holds first place, whilst in PHS Division 3 Herman Heiligers' HubCap II is favourite with a four-point gap to D McDonnell and R Blanc-Ramos' Applejack.
