The 2019 Multihull Solutions Phuket Rally is now open for entry with strong numbers expected to participate in the inaugural event.

Held from 8-11 November, the casual cruising rally will bring together multihulls of all sizes to enjoy a weekend of boating on Thailand's stunning waterways.

Registrations are open to anyone with a multihull, whether privately owned, borrowed or chartered. Catamarans are available to charter through Sail in Thailand, Island Spirit Charters and Elite Charters.

The event is operated as a true cruising rally through Phang Nga Bay with frequent stops for social functions, exploring and relaxing.

Multihull Solutions general manager Peter Cohen said the emphasis of the event is on fun with a swag of prizes on offer for participants best embracing the spirit of the rally.

"It's our aim to ensure all entrants enjoy sailing in company with other multihull enthusiasts along with having time to gain and share knowledge and advice with fellow cruisers, meet new friends and enjoy the magnificent waters surrounding Phuket," Peter said.

The rally kicks off from Ao Po Grand Marina where participants will enjoy an event briefing and welcome drinks. The following morning will see the fleet explore the remarkable hongs at Koh Phanak or Koh Hong before enjoying a Punch Party on the beach at Koh Roi.

Day three includes cruising through Koh Jong, snorkelling and lunch at Krabi, while the following days involve unforgettable adventures snorkelling at Koh Dam, exploring the glittering beaches and anchorages of Phi-Phi Don before celebrating on the final evening with a group dinner and presentations.

The event is not a racing regatta and special racing insurance is not required.

Registrations and further information can be obtained by contacting Andrew de Bruin on +66 (0)8 1894 1530 or +66 (0) 76 238 117, emailing or visiting www.multihullsolutions.com.au/events/multihull-solutions-phuket-rally-2019.
